Hose Length Measurment

Rubber hose manufacturers produce different types of Hoses in Length, Diameter, color and delivering to their clients. However, length is the crucial factor in this industry to manage the keep the production loss as less as possible.

Conventional length measurement in this industry is made by Rotary Encoders by using measuring wheels. However, as it consists of physical contact with material it is possible to get wrong measurements due to slippages and wear & tear of surface.
So to eliminate this physical contact with material we introduces our ASTCH VLM500 Non-contact type measurement sensor in this industry.

Our ASTECH VLM500 sensor can measure any length as per customer requirement with precise accuracy in mm. Astech VLM500 can be mounted 185mm above the surface and give the similar encoder pulse outputs that can be feed to customers’ existing PLC system.

Also, data logging and cut to length line control is possible by our VLM500 sensor output. This is our key product in Length measurement applications for Rubber Hose Manufacturing industry.
